Kayla Schetter has been training dancers, acrobats, equestrians, and athletes or all ages and abilities for 20 years! She will listen to your needs, your goals, understand your past experiences/injuries and current abilities. It is a service that is special and individualized to your movement journey.

Get to know Kayla Schetter: From Sheboygan to New York City, Kayla has a home town feel with big city dreams! Kayla started her dance training at the age of 7 at the Sheboygan YMCA. Her education lead to teaching, performing, coaching, and choreographing!

In New York City she worked, trained, and performed along the best in the industry. She moved back unexpectedly and continued dancing for local companies.

Her fitness training and knowledge stemmed from intense workouts when she danced for the "Milwaukee Bucks Dancers," and received her NASM-CPT shortly thereafter. Pilates was her passion from an early age, surprisingly off of a VHS tape back, her interest grew more and more in high school and more specifically her formal training began in college.

Schetter studied and earned her B.A. in Dance at University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Pilates was utilized as cross-training to her dance career. Finally in 2018 she started her Pilates Certification through Balanced Body. 

With these various degrees and certifications, it only made sense for Kayla to open her own studio and pursue all of her passions under one roof. That was the creation of Core Connection Pilates/Kayla Schetter's Dance Studio. Both are housed in the same building and, at times, used interchangeably. 


Fitness, Pilates, Acrobatics, and Dance are the practices that shape her studio. Kayla likes to use the term "movement" because truly they all share the same shapes/movement patterns; with different names but the same body mechanics. It is the attention to detail, the class format/structure, and Kayla's eye for perfection that builds your body and mind. 

Men, women, kids, adults, and families have all trained under Kayla's care. She only wants the best for you in your fitness journey and has the tools, skills, machines, expertise, and creativity to bring it all to life!

  • 24 hour notice to cancel/reschedule
  • All Classes will be tracked from date of purchase (*personal session valid for 1 year)
  • No refunds, exchanges, transfers, extensions

What to wear...
​Clothes that allows for full range of motion. Comfort is most important. (Try to avoid baggy articles of clothing.) Barefeet or socks.
